Nicole Richardson, DDS
Dentist in Highland Village, TX
I grew up in Flower Mound and graduated from Lewisville High School. After high school, I attended the University of North Texas and gained early acceptance to Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Upon completion of my first year of dental school, I received a Bachelor of Arts in biology with a minor in chemistry and Spanish from UNT. While at Baylor, I was a member of the Odontological Honor Society and the Dean’s List. I was also selected to join Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor fraternity. I graduated from Baylor in the top 15% of my class. Since graduating, I have practiced dentistry in both a clinical setting and private practice, allowing me to obtain a range of clinical knowledge. My favorite part of dentistry is the relationships I am able to develop with patients.
My Dental Philosophy
My philosophy is to diagnose and treat patients, in the same way, I would my own family, in the most relaxed and comfortable environment possible. My approach to dentistry is unique in that I want to help provide a healthy smile with the least amount of invasive restoration. I strive to deliver meaningful and comprehensive care for your entire family and to instill this same mentality in my office team. When the need is real, and treatment is required, you can trust that every effort and resource will be exhausted in restoring your smile.

Ana Granados
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a registered dental hygienist. She has been a member of the Highland Village Smile Studio team since 2015. She graduated from Tarrant County College with her associate degree in dental hygiene in 2008 and from Texas Women’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014.
Ana loves furthering her education to provide the best patient care, in 2018 she completed her training in myo functional therapy.
Ana is happily married to her high school sweetheart. She has a son and a dog and loves to spend time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and the outdoors.
Joanna Holt
Front Office Receptionist/ Dental Assistant
Joanna is our friendly front office receptionist and registered dental assistant. She greets our patients with a smile and handles the phone, scheduling, and anything to do with dental insurance. She also assists Dr. Richardson with procedures from restorative to cosmetic dentistry as needed. She provides the extra hands and eyes that keep the office going smoothly and patients feeling comfortable.
Joanna began building relationships at Highland Village Smile Studio in August 2012. Before joining our team, she had four years of experience in dentistry. She graduated as valedictorian of her dental assisting class. Joanna is certified in radiology, sedation, jurisprudence, infection control, and CPR.
In her free time, Joanna enjoys playing the piano, sewing, crafting, reading, volunteering at her church, and spending time with her family. She is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.
America

America joined the team in 2022! She graduated from Collin College Dental Hygiene school in 2016, but she has been in the dental field working with patients for more than 20 years. America is passionate about educating patients on how to achieve their optimal oral health. She is married to her husband Rafael, and has 2 boys. In her free time, she likes to visit her family in Mexico and explore new countries. She also loves to cook and musicals.
